Peddinghaus Corporation was pleased to attend the annual Tekla Corporation user’s meeting held August 16 – 18 in Baltimore, MD. The recent meeting featured the largest attendance and most diverse group of attendees in the history of the event.
“We were very pleased with the scope of our event, and we thank Peddinghaus for their participation and contribution to its’ success”, commented Christian Erickson of Tekla.
Stephen Farrow, Vice President - and member of the Peddinghaus 30 year tenure club - addressed the group, commenting on the vast technological improvements in the industry.
“In 1903, Peddinghaus’ first products were drop forged anvils, and now we manufacture the machine tools for the steel construction industry – using today’s electronic and mechanical technologies. Speed Sawing, Outside Loading, Material Through-put, Chain Cutting and Common Cut Line are just a few industry terms that only came to being in the past few years”, he said.
“Today’s Building Modeling programs – such as Tekla - seamlessly integrate with Peddinghaus’ equipment to increase efficiency and productivity for the structural fabricator.”
Peddinghaus is proud of our relationship with these forward thinking firms.
