The past few months have brought some very unpredictable weather conditions to the Midwest. There have been heavy rains triggering floods as well as threats ranging from tornadoes to hail. Recently Peddinghaus bore the brunt of Mother Nature’s random tendencies.
On the evening of July 10th a combination of wind, rain, and lightning created a microburst - preventing power from reaching over 700 homes as well as the Peddinghaus Campus. We are thankful that no one was hurt, and none of our buildings were severely damaged, but if you were to drive down Washington Avenue you would find that hard to believe. Downed trees, as well as a series of broken utility poles added to the mess created by the violent storm.
We sincerely apologize if you attempted to contact anyone at our Bradley campus on the dates ranging from late evening Thursday, July 10th to Sunday, July 13th. Major repairs were made by the utility company to repair the downed poles and power lines.
Peddinghaus is back in full swing, and you will find all of the same friendly faces here to serve you as usual. Thank you in advance for your patience during recent events, and we hope to hear from you soon.
