Wednesday, July 20th Tekla and Peddinghaus are teaming-up to demonstrate the latest development connecting building design to shop floor fabrication. Adnexxus is a direct link between Tekla Structures and Peddinghaus CAM software.
Designed to directly import from Tekla Structures, Adnexxus eliminates potential file conversion errors and allows more efficient programming. Fewer conversions and less possibility for error, lead to greater productivity.
Previously, converting parts files from Tekla Structures to an intermediary file format presented opportunities for error, and added additional procedures to the programming process. Adnexxus bridges the gap by allowing Tekla part files to be directly translated into Peddinghaus CAM data; eliminating the need to rely upon an intermediary file standard such as DSTV.
Using Adnexxus to generate part programs allows geometric data and other information that would normally be omitted during standard file conversions to be included within the data transfer. Adnexxus offers several features which allow for faster programming and increased machine tool production. The software allows user to automatically generate layout marks, part identification, and also produce lead-in cuts for thermal cutting applications.
With this software the user now has the ability to select or omit specific features needed for each machine. The user can specify the number of tools available, the maximum tool size, or replace a tool diameter throughout an entire project effortlessly.
Join us at 1:00 p.m. CDT on July 20th to witness this remarkable breakthrough in machine tool programming.
