The company culture of HGG and Peddinghaus are quite the same we are both family oriented companies. We have a family culture over here.
Both of our companies want to be market leader. We want to produce the best machines, and with the best machine, the companies who buy our machines will have a solid return on investment.
And at the end, that's important.
The focus of HGG will always be a technology company. We get our energy of our development technology and making robotics smarter and smarter.
We are very good in developing the technology behind it, designing the machines, and bringing the best steel profiling machines to the world.
These machines we have designed to enable all steel constructors, any company who needs thermal cutting, to make great constructions and have all freedom to create these constructions.
Finding really good craftsmen becomes harder and harder. So that's why it's our job to automate the process for the fabricator.
We should minimize throughput time. We should increase the quality and minimize the cost for the fabricator.
My initial view of Peddinghaus was they are the biggest in the United States. Every time when you entered the shop either it was North America, or South America, or Europe, it was Peddinghaus.
Now us being part of that family, it makes me very proud.
Each month, we are installing new PeddiBots throughout North America. And the great thing is that our machines are being completely serviced by Peddinghaus.
Our engineering focus is always looking at what is before our machine, what is all after our machine.
So where other companies engineer a machine which is just a cutting machine, we always look at the steps before, what is happening in the world, in a digital world, or what is happening with welding, or with bolts, or with the erection.
One of the big capabilities of this machine is that it does things differently. What it does differently is that it does not touch the material.
It doesn't do any probing. So it measures the material, but it doesn't touch it.
The main thing the PeddiBot does are flange thins, bolt holes, rat holes, copes, all different kinds of copes. So this machine will make that next step.
So after already having a drill line a saw line, this is actually a step when coping becomes a commodity, when everybody starts to do coping with a robot, with bevels in every kind of shape you want to cut.
So this is actually what will be the next step with the PeddiBot.
The PeddiBot is a machine which does it all. No matter if you're a small, medium, or big fabricator, it really helps you.
Either the machine does all the work, or it's being integrated in the whole process flow.
This is the starting point. This is actually the moment when everybody starts to automate.
So what will happen in the future, programming will become a lot easier. Everybody should be able to do it. Load the files and cut it.
It's all about the market, listening to the market, see what happens, what does the market need, and where can the customers get their benefit?
We have to help the customers to make money. We have to help the customers that can just rely on their production system.
I think the partnership between Peddinghaus and HGG will grow. I've seen the culture is quite the same.
The most important that need to be both keep our eyes open for challenges in the market, where actually do we see possibilities to help our customers?
And I think for both of us, we will see and support the steel constructors, to improve their production processes.
HGG is a group of people who have a true passion for technology. This made us the world leader in 3D profiling. We mastered cutting.
