Strong and Reliable Fabrication Machinery at Steel Service Corporation

Every fabricator has their own story of how they got to where they are today. From the fabricators that started from scratch, to the detailers that started their own shop, each fabricator is unique. The service provided with Peddinghaus machines impresses Steel Service from Jackson, Mississippi and has resulted in numerous Peddinghaus machine purchases.

I'm Doug from Steel Service, Jackson Mississippi, and this is my Peddinghaus story.

Steel Service, we've been in business since 1969.

We started out pretty much hauling around in a pickup truck, to doing mass seating arenas and a lot of industrial work.

We give the total package to the GC, or the customer we're working for.

We work very hard on solving his problems. We sell raw steel.

Our niche on the service side is heavy processed material, and that's where Peddinghaus comes in.

The strength of the Peddinghaus machine is the frame. It's second to none. It's sturdy, well equipped.

With our needs--and when I say our needs, the fabricators needs--there is, as time has gone by, I think they stay with the state-of-the-art, and hat we're looking for in this world, in this business.

You can look at that piece of equipment compared to other people's and tell. I mean, it's two different things, looking at a Toyota, and a Mercedes--you want the Mercedes.

Peddinghaus far exceeds the rest of them. The reliability is there. We run 20 hours a day most of the year, but they are the Cadillac of the steelworking industry.

Peddinghaus equipment holds its value. You get out a lot more.

We've had equipment in the past--I won't say major equipment, but--you can look on go out with people selling their equipment, and other companies are a lot lower, whereas Peddinghaus equipmen has sold at a good value, because it's known what you're getting.
